The Ban30 Radar is a mid-range sensor that provides reliable detection and position feedback in extreme applications, using high frequency radio waves from an internal antenna. 

 

Operating in the 24 GHz ISM band using FMCW (time-of-flight) technology, the Ban30 Radar is the ideal solution for extra wide boom gates in excess of 6m and up to 15 meters where loop detectors and PE beams are not an option.

The Ban30 Radar is easy to install and Telecom approved in Australia.  With a 10-30V DC, the sensor can be configured to sense objects up to a specific distance and ignoring objects beyond this distance.  It detects Metal such as Cars, Trucks, Bikes and organic material (pedestrian).

The Ban30 Radar includes the following features:

  • Adjustable sensing range: from 6m to up to 15m
  • FMCW radar detects moving and stationary objects
  • Adjustable sensing field to ignores objects beyond setpoint
  • Easy setup and configuration of range, sensitivity, and output using the Banner Radar configuration Software
  • Telecom approved for Europe, UK, Australia, New Zealand, China, and Japan
  • Sensing functions are immune to wind, fog, steam, extreme temperature changes, resistant to rain and snow
  • Rugged IP67 housing withstands harsh environments -40°C to +65°C
