The Ecoport Automatic Supermarket Entry Gates includes the following features:
- Design: The motor column and gate arm are made high quality chrome-plated steel. The drive mechanism is designed for intensive use and provides a high level of injury protection. Directional signage on the gate arm is made of white plastic or transparent acrylic glass, printed on both sides.
- Function: Ecoport supermarket gates are usually supplied with either PE beams or radar control to open the gate. Other control options are ceiling-mounted radars, remote push-button control and RFID access control systems.
- Adjustable radar beam: The radar pattern can be easily adjusted to suit site conditions from 0.5 metres to 2.5 metres.
- Anti-panic features: In an emergency, the barrier can be opened to allow personnel to exit.

- Control system operating voltage is 24 VDC for the highest level of safety
- Ecoport systems comply with both national and international safety requirements
- Synchronised opening of all double systems using two radars
- Adjustable opening time from 1 to 16 seconds, the system then closes automatically
- Direction of opening can be adjusted on-site
- Power supply from the ceiling is an option
- Different sizes and design of gate arms are available
- Additional posts and barrier rails can also be supplied to suit any application.
