The PE Beams Hard Wired consists of a transmitter and receiver unit mounted on opposite sides of the entrance.

 

The transmitter sends a modulated infrared beam to the receiver. When the beam is interrupted the receiver changes the state of an internal relay. The contacts of the relay are potential free and can be wired as normally opened or closed.

The PE Safety Beams Hard Wired include the following features:

  • The long-range beams are fixed lens and can operate up to 40 metres.
  • The transmitter sends a modulated infrared beam to the receiver. When the beam is interrupted the receiver relay sends a signal to stop or open the door or gate.
  • They are housed in an IP55 shockproof plastic enclosure —suitable for outdoor use.
